Dear Beloved Community,
Thank you for making Freedom Project what it is today – a community organization rooted in a consciousness of compassionate communication, committed to healing from and dismantling mass incarceration. Every single one of us that has ever been involved is a critical part of this community, and we are so grateful for your contributions of time, talent, values, vision, money, caring and hope.
Our goal is to raise at least $100,000 of unrestricted support in our mutual aid fund, for housing and basic needs free from government restrictions, to support those who are the most marginalized and aren’t eligible for support from restricted funding buckets. (Read more about this initiative here.)
Vote with your dollars every month!
Monthly giving is a powerful way for everyone to make a significant contribution. It also lets us be in relationship with those who are able to help sustain the work. Some donors choose monthly giving as a conscious anti-racist practice to dismantle oppressive systems by shifting funds to communities historically under-resourced and overly-impacted by the racial wealth gap.
Make a gift today!
Every gift is a vote for the world we want to see. Gifts from friends and allies help us be able to respond with speed and agility when needed, without having to worry if our grant funding will cover the needs in the community. It places agency where it is needed most – closest to the impact.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Freedom Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax ID #91-2129474
Will my company match or let me donate pre-tax?
Yes, if you work for Microsoft, Google, Nintendo, and other major corporations, they will match your giving. Sometimes you need to make your donation through your employee portal, so check with your HR reps before proceeding if you want your gift to be match (and we would love if you wanted that to happen!).
If you work for King County, we participate in the King County Employee Giving program. Our Organization Code is 9632.
If you have any questions, please email Kiki Elfendahl at [email protected].
Is there another way to donate beside a credit card?
Our mailing address is PO Box 57, Renton, WA 98057.
