When Eugene Youngblood was 18, he was sentenced to 65 years in prison. Eugene was granted executive clemency and released in May 2021 after 29 years in prison. Since his release, Eugene has been an active member of his community and advocates legislation that would give more people serving extreme sentences an opportunity for a second chance.
