Marching to elevate the lived experience of Black FathersSaturday’s march will elevate the lived experiences of black fathers and shed light on the criminal legal system’s impact on fatherhood. We will hear from fathers who have parented while incarcerated, young people who have grown up with incarcerated fathers and fathers whose children have been victims of police violence.

Whether we are overvalued or undervalued by society, the ways that we are seen are influenced by multiple systems, histories, experiences and institutions.
